I'm in favor of the lambasting illegals are taking these days.
You don't have to think too hard to surmise that.   

They've had an ominously free hand to do almost anything while our own citizens suffer at their hands, natural disasters, foreign aid, etc. without any meaning governmental assistance.

That was a HUGE black eye for Dukakis.

The point being this was an American citizen committing the crimes while on legal furlough.
But, that was enough to shock and dismay the citizenry.

How is it that these foreign criminals, here illegally no less, commit crimes as bad or worse and our legal system (read: lib judges and DA's) let them loose repeatedly? Where is the shock and dismay for THOSE victims?
