Well, here's the thing, Johnny.  Haitians have been reported to eat dogs and cats. While the instances were isolated Haitian individuals facing hunger have resorted to consuming animals not typically part of the Haitian diet, including dogs.

Even as late as 2024, during Haiti's famine, and  5 million people facing crisis levels of food shortages, it became fairly common practice among Haitians to eat dogs and cats.  Trump didn't just make this up, there is some truth to it.

I have great affection for India - and none for Pakistan. That said, India is at fault in this matter. And I know, I know - the Pakis did the current, immediate dirty. And yes. They did. But it wasn't done in a vacuum. India failed to keep its promise to the UN back in the day when the borders were being drawn on the subcontinent. They knew for sure they would lose if they put the matter to a plebiscite. They still will. They hold their part of Kashmir against the will of the people who live there.
