Well, let me break it down for you. China wants Taiwan Semiconductor and to a lesser extent Foxconn (and a few others). The US wants Taiwan Semiconductor and Foxconn.  Not much else to say about that.  Yes, its worth going to war over.  If Trump were smart, he'd give whatever incentive it takes to move ALL of TWSC and Foxconn 100% within the US borders, issue greencards to their employees, deport enough Central Americans to more than offset the influx, and then bomb their facilities left behind in Taiwan.
