Why else would you be looking for the market to GO UP after Trumps tariff gambit... WHY don't you sell NOW? Because I ( a Trump Conservative) think he's going to follow thru on EVERYTHING he has promised... BUT, YOU and "YOUR" people (I.E. Liberals) think he's an incompetent BOOB ? HOW does that square??
Personally I think it would be a VERY BAD move... BUT, I think Trump knows EXACTLY what he's doing.. AND YOU? WHAT do YOU REALLY think?
I think your stock trades say everything !
Not a bad plan... but I'm thinking that if everything goes as Trump is expecting... i.e. 1) the Tariffs deals are finalized (and U.S. makes possibly a $Trillion+/yr. in new revenue as a result), 2) The One big BEAUTIFUL Tax bill is approved, and 3) the Government is shrunk, and DOGE savings are incorporated into the U.S. budget... I expect that the U.S. will go into a protracted BULL phase... Why? Because what Trump is proposing is a game changer... it's a NOT just the ho-hum U.S. economy chugging along... I "think" we are going to new highs, especially if it all results in the debt getting paid down, and America (overnight) sees Trillions in additional revenue? It will be a COMPLETE game changer...Blackvegetable » 08 May 2025, 5:17 pm » wrote: ↑ When my positions hit their price targets, which are 15% below 52 week highs, I will reallocate, move more into more cash and await the next Grifty Buying Opportunity.

SO LONG as the Crazy Democrats don't do something CRAZY (which wouldn't completely surprise me if they did, because it would mean TRUMP wins AGAIN)... there are potentially VERY good times ahead !
sure, but you're innumerate.but I'm thinking that if everything goes as Trump is expecting...

It has been a pretty sure bet under Supply Side regimes.

I've been RIGHT a HELL of a lot more often than I've been wrong over the years...
So, I'll let the TRUE "**** for Brains" believe what they want.. I can't be BOTHERED with IDIOTS... I'll ONLY be bothered if they try to influence ME with their IDIOCY... and THEN, I'll STILL do what I BELIEVE is right... and let the IDIOTS come to grips with their MISTAKES, POVERTY, and IDIOCY !!

Just don't buy anything mechanical...Skans » 08 May 2025, 1:16 pm » wrote: ↑ From what I can tell, the US was running at a trade surplus of $12 billion with Great Britain in 2024.https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/pol ... 508333007/
But, that's ok, I'd rather buy things Made in England than Made in China. They just need to put their Pakis to work!!

I don't know about firearms, but their motorcycles are suspect at best....and their automobiles?Skans » 11 May 2025, 7:58 am » wrote: ↑ LOL - that's all I ever buy online! Tools and mechanical things. The English used to make some decent quality firearms. Granted, that was some 250 years ago.
