As always, there's someone equivocating Christianity with Islam. That never fails.
Pedophilia was bound to come up.

Well, I didn't say anything about Islam.  But, I did look up the guy's background.  Look at all of the Communists, many Jews and Atheists, that come from Chicago.  Particularly the south side of Chicago. That's where the new Pope is from. He is mixed race, as his mother was at least half-black. Maybe his folks just picked a bad neighborhood to live in - it happens. And, maybe he steered clear of all of the radicals and communists in that area - possible.

But, he apparently did give cover to a pedophile priest.  Are you ok with that?  I'm not.

On Chicago, here are some facts for you to chew on:

• The Communist Party of the United States was established in Chicago in 1919 by left-wing Socialist Party members who were inspired by the Bolshevik revolution.
• The greatest number of Communist Party recruits came from the section on Chicago’s South Side that embraced the Black Belt and Packingtown - right near Dolton where Prevost grew up.
• Dolton (where Pope grew up) was about 10 miles south Packingtown - the hot epicenter of American Communism

Look, I admit that I don't know enough about the new Pope to say who and what he is.  It's just that my Commie-meter went into the Red-Zone when I heard where he was born and raised.

I just heard "First American Pope" on a restaurant TV then started a thread because nobody had done it yet. Anything deemed good seems to have a 'Trump Wins' team member crowing about it. They may be serious about it and that's fine by me.

I'm good with that.  But, in case you haven't noticed, I'm rather sensitive to Communists and their Religion of Atheism. I don't much care about agnostics - people have their reasons.
