AI is faster at protein synthesis than God.  Evolution could seriously ramp up with quantum computers. Maybe the AI God will see value in keeping us in a tank in the matrix and feeding us techno chicken nuggets so that the universe continues to exist because there is someone there to see the tree fall in the forest.

He was raised by his mother [or grandmother].
