You get no argument from me that Iran is a "real country".  However, its a tyrannical, theocratic dictatorship.  More than half the country hate those who are in power, and they are helpless to do anything about it.  They have no guns, no civil rights, basically nothing.  They exist because they fly under the radar of the Mullahs.

And if ya would, make me a top ten list of which countries we need to fix first, then second, etc. I'd like to know which wars you think we should be starting next and in what order.
 
Also, rank a few of the countries in THIS hemisphere. It'd be nice to kill someone closer to home. Where does Mexico stand?

I don't want to "fix" countries.  I just want to destroy them and take their resources....if possible. With Iran, we have the following in America's favor:

• Tyrants running Iran, and Iran **** us with Russia and China.
• Israelis chomping at the bit to use their troops to fight Iran
• We have extra bombs that need exploding
• Iran has resources that we might be able to take
• We can set up a puppet regime in Iran to serve the Iranian people (well, more than half of them) which may last for 10-20 years.
• We kick the Israelis out of Iran and "protect" Iran from any further Israeli attacks.
• We set up military bases in Iran and use it as a base to spy on China and run covert ops in China.

Now, what's wrong with my plan?

I did. Article I, Section 8 says we can go to war with other nations, no limits imposed so long as Congress ratifies it.  Article II, Section 2 makes the President the Commander In Chief of the military and there are no restrictions on what he can do with the military as for foreign countries are concerned. The bottom line - the US can do what the F- it wants, when it wants to whom it wants, as long as they are not US citizens.

The Constitution is an enumeration of powers. The Bill of Rights was an AMENDMENT to it, before it was ever even ratified. It was only created because without it, the Constitution itself could not have been ratified.

The Constitution expressly limits the powers of the executive - as well as the powers of the other two branches. "Going all Roman on them" is utterly against the spirt and the letter of that document with which you clearly have not even passing familiarity. 

The Constitution is like the Bible. Rednecks swear by both documents, read neither, and violate both routinely.

The Constitution essentially allows the President or Congress to wage war on foreign countries.  Clearly, our Founding Fathers (PBUH) wanted us to go to war with other **** nations, and made it very easy for us to do so without violating the Constitution.
