Robert De Niro Slams Trump In Cannes Honorary Palme D'Or Speech: "We Are Fighting Like Hell For The Democracy We Once Took For Granted"
(Full article at above link)

The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival got off to both a politically charged and Hollywood start on Tuesday evening as Robert De Niro was presented with an honorary Palme d'Or by Leonardo DiCaprio. An impassioned De Niro used his acceptance speech to address issues he said were facing the artistic community and threatening democracy, under the presidency of Donald Trump. “In my country, we are fighting like hell for the democracy we once took for granted. That affects all of us here because the arts are democratic. Art is inclusive, it brings people together. Art embraces diversity and that's why art is a threat, that's why we are a threat to autocrats and fascists,” he said. “America's philistine president has had himself appointed head of one of our premier cultural institutions. He has cut funding and support to the arts, humanities and education. And now he has announced a 100% tariff on films produced outside of the U.S.,” he continued. “Let that sink in … You can't put a price on creativity, but apparently you can put a tariff on it. De Niro said the Trump’s actions were not a uniquely U.S. issue. “This is not just an American problem, it's a global one. We can't all just sit back and watch. We have to act and we have to act now, not with violence but with great passion and determination. It's time for everyone who cares about liberty to organize, to protest - and when there are elections, of course, to vote. Tonight and for the next 11 days we show our strength and commitment by celebrating art in this glorious festival. Libérté, égalité, fraternité. "DiCaprio, who arrived on stage to rousing applause, highlighted the role played De Niro in his early career .“Growing up in Los Angeles, every young actor I knew watched De Niro’s work. We studied him, trying to understand how he immersed himself so completely in his characters. He created the blueprint. He wasn’t just another great actor, he was the actor,” said DiCaprio. DiCaprio recalled how he had gotten his first big movie break playing opposite De Niro in This Boy’s Life. "The audition process was a tough one. Lots of competition. None of us knew who would get the part… at 15 or 16 years old, I did the only thing I couldn’t think to stand. I screamed at him at the top of my lungs," recounted DiCaprio. The room burst into laughing. Later that day, as the story goes, Bob was getting on his plane with a producer. Art Linson asked who do you want to play the part? And in classic De Niro fashion, he replied, second kid from the last. Luckily, that second kid was me, and that moment changed my life forever, started my entire career in the world of cinema. A montage of his films was played kicking off with the explosion scene in Casino and including the famous “Are you talkin’ to me’ monologue dialogue in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. The honor came closes to 50 years after De Niro first attended Cannes with Bernardo Bertolucci's 1900 and Taxi Driver, which won the Palme d'Or.

What didn't make sense in my post? Because De Niro is a movie star he is on some celestial plane higher than any other ancestor alive? Cow patties. The man makes a living believing life is but a dream state of mind.

Most Thespians are dedicated to the philosophy the world is but a stage of typecast people their careers enlighten other how to ignore now is eternity on a world stage of gaining power, wealth, and fame leading ancestries to sacrifice biological time alive for relative time theory intellectual soul can last for eternity and freemasons build monuments to those mislead ancestries the best.

Please, post every working theory in history of ancestral lineages never reproducing the same ancestor twice in two separate generation gaps living in series parallel proportion to current population(8.096 billion ancestors of male and female displacement) daily here.

Chromosomes don't speak, but their results populate space in plain sight specifically here so far. I know this from my personal location equally evolving one of a kind.

My brain navigates space being alive one of a kind being separated ancestrally here. Me, myself, and I in my time alive as ancestrally positioned daily here

Your mind obeys suggestions living is too difficult to navigate controlling tomorrow by yourself so you have to create a chain of command that follows your mentality of life beyond adapting here so far. "We own you and in order to save humanity everyone else has to honor our speculation is greater than their individual time living 24/7.".

Philosophy promises better tomorrows than genetics sustains population daily here.

Psychology punishes any brain not complying to a social consensus of we the people of alternate realties in parallel universes trying to figure out this multiverse moment.

Morality promises there is no absolute right or wrong, just good and evil.

Legality makes promises of 7 days a week factual.

Academia trains every generation to mind the first 2

Artistic Impressions support all the facts academia provides all the alternate realities in social studies of separate geographical areas created by longitudes and latitudes of climate changing in cycles between tropics and the polar icecaps being opposite seasons same day every day each ancestor in each ancestral lineages serves the intellectual promises of better tomorrows than genetics replaces ancestors daily here.

Economics is the motivation to honoring context over content in every language barrier this species has daily here.

Political civic minds create ways to keep ancestors from following their instinctive brain navigating time staying alive daily here.

Religious souls convince every generation gap life is too complicated to adapt in space alone or along just ancestral lineages left alive daily here.

The three R's that manifested humanity's eternal hell after death ideology governing generation gaps changing population last 7,000 years creating the 9 tiers of eternal hell in every reality of humanity today regardless the date on a calendar or time on a clock.

The "Three R's" can refer to different concepts depending on the context. In an educational context, they refer to reading, writing, and arithmetic. In an environmental context, they refer to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Additionally, in the context of animal research, they refer to Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement
