How many actually go in their basement or pantry actually read the dates and rotate stuff out.

Every afew months or so I look everything over what aint "Expired" I bag up donate the "Food Pantry"

Now some stuff still okay after expiration dates like Pasta but eventually bugs get in there start laying eggs

Canned & Sealed stuff last a year or two past expiration dates wont make ya sick "Supposedly"

But as ya get older ya Guts and Digestion aint as good neither so dont "Screw Around"

Good morning murdock. I have enough of this to last me and the wife for over a year. 25 year shelf life. I have enough canned goods to last easily just as long... Image

Every morning, including this one, I use an extended cat shovel and a bucket to clean up and feed the compost. I put down spent coffee grounds that have been dried out. They remove odors and they provide a nice smell of coffee. You could pitch a cot in my coop - I'm not even **** ya.

So ya think I oughta go full Caddyshack on the varmints, do ya? Sounds like fun. The coons got into my feeder last night. One of the little devils managed to unscrew one of the caps. There was a pile of pellets on the ground, and no doubt some piles in some coons' bellies.

I have to give the little bastard his props. He took a good amount of cayenne pepper on his paws. But he fed his family, I suppose. Maybe it was worth it to him. I sure with I could kill the little sumbitch. I don't like feeding varmints.
Caddyshack is right...

so you put cayenne in the chicken feed? That **** works great on squirrels... I used to mix it right in my bird feeder...good times...
