Saudi Arabia & Petro Dollar the Idea became lets suck up their "Cheap Easy Oil" right now.

Drill Baby Drill is a new "phenomena" years ago we tried keep that all inside the ground be the last nation holding mass reserves while burning the rest of theirs off for decades too before we ever needed our own domestic supplies

We have been talking "Peak Oil" since the 1970s when the population was only 4 billoin and the world much "Poorer" and Chinesse rode bicycles everywhere

Today its like 8/9  Billion people and Chinesse drive Cars 

Anyways Peak Oil means " Cheap Oil"

Higher Prices always something 2 extract but at what cost.

Now the just drilling a pipe , hook up a pump, and throw a switch yeah that kinda cheap easy oil play is running out

Now if oil prices skyrocket enough say 2 hundred a barrel now "Substitutes" become economically feasible as well too

The historical record rather supports this. Every decade for more than 100 years we have tracked known recoverable reserves. Every fresh decade we have used more oil globally than in all other decades combined. So, in the 70s alone, we used more oil than had been used in all of history prior. Then in the 80s, same. Well, I was just talking about liquid carbon - the stuff of life. It's abundant. There's enough of it to make a trillion new dinosaurs (even though it did not come from dead dinosaurs).
