Xi Jinping views rare earth minerals and drug manufacturing as two "choke points" for the United States.  According to Mr. Jinping, the US is in no position to make demands on China because it can, at any time, cut off access to much needed medications manufactured in China as well as rare earth minerals. 

Mr. Jinping refused to discuss allegations of eco-terrorism by communist party members who were caught red-handed smuggling a fungus designed to destroy American crops. 

There you have it, boys and girls.  If you didn't think China was our enemy before, there should be no doubt about it.  Xi Jinping will cut you off and, starve you and kill you without ever firing a shot. China is the enemy.  Trump has been saying this and I agree with him.  Now, what is Trump going to do about #! ENEMY?

He makes a lot of sense. All of it is utterly non, though. 
 
Generally, outside of people like Johnny McCain, "Nuke them" is a response at which one simply rolls one's eyes and snickers. In the case of an actual presidentail candidate singing, "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb - bomb, bomb Iran..." at a televised campaign event, one reminds oneself sadly that we are the klingons, we are the nazis.

China is not "beloved" by the world. They are not omnipotent. Others step in.

Xi is a saber-rattler too. He sits and watches Taiwan because his daddy told him so.

He wants Taiwan Semiconductor.  Can't blame him.  I hope Trump is successful getting it to relocate most of its manufacturing to the US.
