The International Pride Orchestra had hoped to play at the Kennedy Center, the most prestigious venue in the United States, but instead took to the stage at the Strathmore Music Center in Maryland after President Donald Trump pledged on social media that there would be "NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA" at the public-private performing arts center.

Touched base with an old  Coworker, His son had transitioned and he had not spoken with her in 5 years.  

This is the same boss that we coordinated with an engineer Ron  that became Ronnie at a military research facility, in which the team participants took it in stride and Ronnie was just as good an engineer as Ron.

I told my friend I hoped he could find the resolve for acceptance and reunite with his offspring.

Conservative Art is awful..  That's why liberal arts are popular.

Well if Trump goes there I hope they give everyone a can of Lysol..  But he won't find time to watch a show.  His schedule is full of Truth Social and Goofing..

I'm not such a partisan hack that I seek some political messaging in art.
Plain old tiresome bleating isn't very entertaining to me.
Then you get into the weirdoes that are considered geniuses for some ridiculous reason.
Andy Warhol comes to mind. Famous for being famous. A Kardashian ahead of his time.
The winds of politics and fame put people of dubious talent at the top for a while.

I am enjoying getting all the political messaging in the music I never heard before.  It's all over the map buried in the content.

Visual Art never did much for me.  But the smell of rotten in Denmark sure has hit the USA. I have not looked at more than 2 pages of printed text at a time since Netscape came out.

Then we have @murdock  trying to murder his miniscule limp  black cock all day in a deadly game of mental masturbation phooking with his own brain.  I really could use less of him on my replies but never blocked anybody in my life.. I am quite the opposite regarding music.
As I said about tiresome messaging in art... Music is just as subject to the **** (perhaps even more so).

Music critics or analysts used to speak about the quality of a particular song (or album) in terms or "taking you through changes". How rap does any of that these days is for the absolute doltish sheep to enjoy.

Lyrics are secondary to me. Music is about the MUSIC. Even that ridiculous **** started to bore the piss outta the ghetto ute and they tried to add some **** instruments and rename it hip-hop.      

Know-it-all 20-somethings whining about stupid **** to a beat ain't for me.
The 3-note repeat hip-hop isn't interesting changes either. No melody here...

How bad were you bullied in your life?  I mean, you have all the signs.  Late in life learning martial arts and weight lifting.  Telling everyone how superior you are.  Making up stories about your childhood and family situation.  Starting **** with posters anonymously while also threatening them, anonymously.
