The rule of “an eye for an eye” was part of God’s Law given by Moses to ancient Israel and was quoted by Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount. (Matthew 5:​38, King James Version; Exodus 21:24, 25; Deuteronomy 19:21) It meant that when dealing out justice to wrongdoers, the punishment should fit the crime. 

Are you implying that God's Law was wrong? Wait, are you implying that it was a mistake?

it seems you are having problems with what Christ said. it was he who said the law of moses was wrong

How about comparing Confucius with Mohammad. East and middle east vs Hebrew and Paganism. Christianity was just a compromise between the two previous spiritual state of minds.

This is from the Old Testament...the one you claim is written by the jews and is not God's word.
