I stayed at a place that was near a speed bump.  All night long, this is what I heard. That killed any idea I had of bitching at the government to install speedbumps when I lived in a neighborhood. 

As for loud music, I was one of those asshole neighbors who called the cops. 

Thankfully, now my closest neighbor is several acres away.  Now, all I hear are gun shots on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, me being one of the participants. That's white-boy music!  You ever see chimps wonder into a "neighborhood" where all the white-boy neighbors are outside shooting at ****?

Not anymore I don't. I don't have to deal with F-ers like you anymore. I live at the very end of a long private road.  Don't even THINK about wondering up that private road. All 4 of us hunt and we shoot on our land.  All 4 of us communicate if we see anyone who even looks a little "off" near the turn-off onto the private road. One of us (who would not be me) has no problem drawing his pistol on the occasional trespasser.  Honestly, I could never figure out how someone even got onto Gunfriendly Neighbor's property. Y'all think I'm a gun-nut, then you need to go meet Gunfriendly Neighbor! Now, me, I'm just a starer....and if someone knocks at my door (rather rare), I go out back and walk around from the woods to greet them. 

Anywhoo, when I did live in a neighborhood, the one thing I could never figure out was why those speeders were constantly stopping to check their tires. It was the weirdest thing, they would be going really fast, and then about 100 feet later would suddenly stop. Get out of the car and start looking at their tires.  Some even shouted obscenities.

I live 200 foot off the road in a rural community, I'm that guy in other peoples neighborhoods, I can't drive 25.  

I used to have a rather large weapons collection, unfortunately I lost them all in a tragic boating accident.  

You never flattened anyone's tires.

Oh, of course I didn't. Wouldn't. Thank you for clarifying that for everyone. I wouldn't want them to get the wrong impression of me. I just hate when roofers leave these things laying around!  Oh, and all of my weapons are just internet pictures.

Those just cause a slow leak. Working construction for 31 years, I've pulled them from my tires more time than I'd care to count.

I just don't think you're the kind of person who would put those in the road, not knowing what innocent person may drive by next.

Good idea, if you have good reflexes. There's not much the cops can do about that. You aught to get yourself one of those radar guns and point it at them.

I F-ing hate people who speed through neighborhoods. I drive the speed limit, sometimes slower, and if I have someone crawling up my *** in a neighborhood, I might ease off the gas even a little more, or brake suddenly  for those stealthy blond squirrels.

Now, on the highway, I believe you should be able to drive any speed, as long as its over 80mph.

However, my peeve that sort of matches yours is parking lots.
Why the **** people speed where pedestrians are walking, coming out from between things, etc. is beyond me.

In my book, pedestrians have the right of way in a parking lot.
The vehicle has at that point become useless baggage to be set aside momentarily.
It's a parking lot, ya braindead ****...
