The entire 12-person board tasked with overseeing the State Department’s Fulbright Program resigned Wednesday, claiming political interference from the Trump administration.

I just noticed that Jimmy Carter and my Dad were born just days apart in 1924.
Carter spent all of WWII at the Naval Academy.
Of course Carter was born into a wealthy family.

He really wasn't born into a rich family.  His dad wasn't rich.  His mother came from a long line of plantation owners - she might have had a little money.  Interestingly, Mamma Gordy's father, or grandfather was fornicating with the slaves, and a whole line of Black Gordys grew up along side the White Gordys.  His mother's "white guilt" and the fact that she had close black cousins caused her to be racially very liberal.  This bled off onto little Jimmy.

Exactly. There are 3 reasons:
1.  He is losing it, a suicide prevention number would be in order, and yes, BV would just ask you and them more stupid questions.
2.  He is gathering up actual responses and feeding them to someone to come up with talking points, the likes of which he has no plans on disclosing to you.

Beevee gets the credit. Over several years I have watched his ineffective Brown education at work. He ducked and dodged his way through uni, clearly. He scraped together enough C's to get a diploma. What he did not do is learn to think critically - and that, he has shown this board over, and over, and over again. 

On top of this, he is an instinctual ducker of questions and is radically opposed to taking firm positions which might require a defense. I will give the boy this: he knows his limitations. The smartest thing about him is that he knows he's not very smart. And he uses that knowledge as a bulwark against the vicissitudes of getting his *** handed to him.
