Odd/Even days weren't real popular with this 17 year old who had just gotten his license and a 65 Mustang fastback.
The real reason I hate Carter is because he was actually an intelligent man yet an inept leader who repeatedly made really stupid decisions as a President. He was responsible for stagflation - terrible economy, similar to Biden's economy. Carter was way too focused on "alternative energy" and stupid conservation of energy which did nothing for the millions of people waiting in long gas lines. Then, Carter blamed the public claiming that America's troubles under his presidency were being caused by a crisis in public confidence in his presidency. No, he just made really **** decisions. He couldn't handle OPEC and was a typical, socialist Democrat ideologue. Then, there's the Panama Canal give-away; what a total F-ing disaster!
You're welcome, retard. You failed to answer the question as usual.

I would never say that Carter wasn't a decent man, particularly post-presidency. I could see he had a genuine affection for helping people. While I do think he focused way too much on blacks and ignored whites (probably because of his rural south-Georgia upbringing), he was a moral person. I wouldn't call Carter corrupt or a thief, like I would Joe Biden.

You expect answers from others but run like a little bitch from questions yourself.
Why did you vote for Ford and not Carter?Blackvegetable » Today, 6:26 am » wrote: ↑ I know....you don't recall. Slogans - like "3.5!" - have a very short shelf life.

So what is our new POTUS/Director of Arts and History doing as his 90 days pass without results?
The entire 12-person board tasked with overseeing the State Department’s Fulbright Program resigned Wednesday, claiming political interference from the Trump administration.
In a statement posted on the board’s Substack, the congressionally mandated Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board said its members voted “overwhelmingly” to resign from the board “rather than endorse unprecedented actions that we believe are impermissible under the law, compromise U.S. national interests and integrity, and undermine the mission and mandates Congress established for the Fulbright program nearly 80 years ago.”
The board accused the White House of denying Fulbright awards to a “substantial” number of individuals who were selected for the 2025-2026 academic year through a rigorous, merit-based process. The board also alleged that the administration is putting an additional 1,200 foreign Fulbright recipients through an “unauthorized review process” that could lead to the termination of their awards.

Why did you voter for Ford?
I have the details correct. My proof of this is that this is your topic to which I've responded, and you nave no refutation whatsoever to what I've stated about Carter. The reason you've heard what I've said many times over the years, to the point you think its "cliche" is because it is actually true. Jimmy Carter was a terrible president. He made bad decisions. He lacked focus on important problems facing Americans at that time. He couldn't stop being an ideologue to address Americans' concerns, and just wanted to shove his wrong-way thinking down everyone's throats.Blackvegetable » 11 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Skans,
I don't care about your reminiscences. It is the most dog eared cliche in modern US history, I've heard it for decades....we BOTH know you have the details wrong.

Carter was yet another failed Democrat President. Worse than Clinton. Not as bad as Obama, or Biden - the worst of the four.
