He was released.

The guy was an idiot.  No one knew who he was.  He did not identify himself as a Senator.  He was not wearing his spin or did he have any visible ID that would show he was a Senator.

He rushes in and starts yelling questions.  With everything going on, keeping in mind Trump had 2 assassination attempts last year, security did the right thing.  

After wards Noem talked with him, exchanged phone #s, and agreed to talk.
