I enjoyed working in the sporting good store.  So much so that I crapped up a great high school GPA with some really **** senior grades. Dad told me not to F- around and keep my grades up; that there will be plenty of time to "work" later.  He was right, but it was a good experience.

I was 16 and really liked it, they even sent me to the airport to pick up Dean Martins Gold Diggers. They had flown in to do a show at the club there. I had seen them on Dean Martins variety show and in person they were gorgeous. However, I was a wallflower at 16 and didn't say much to them. I noticed that they were a lot thinner in person.

When color TV first came out I still preferred to watch baseball in black and white because the fine details were more clear. The TV set had a switch to give you that option
