Donald Trump issues warning to AOC after impeachment push

U.S. President Donald Trump challenged Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to try impeaching him, and said the democratic socialist should be more focused on keeping hold of her seat instead. Ocasio-Cortez, also known as AOC, had said Trump's ordering of strikes on Iran without congressional approval was grounds for impeachment. "She better start worrying about her own Primary, before she thinks about beating our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin' Chuck Schumer, whose career is definitely on very thin ice!" Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "She and her Democrat friends have just hit the Lowest Poll Numbers in Congressional History, so go ahead and try Impeaching me, again, MAKE MY DAY!"
AOC fired back at Trump on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday afternoon saying, "Mr. President, don't take your anger out on me - I'm just a silly girl. Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into war. It only took you 5 months to break almost every promise you made."
On Saturday, the president announced strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan in response to the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, a U.S. ally. On June 13, Israel struck Tehran, Iran's capital, and other cities to disrupt its nuclear capabilities, and Iran retaliated with strikes of its own, the majority of which were intercepted by Israeli defense systems.
Over the past 24 hours, the U.S. brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was announced by President Trump, following a 12-day conflict marked by U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites and Iranian missile attacks on Israel and a U.S. base in Qatar. Despite the ceasefire, both nations have accused each other of violations, with continued missile exchanges and airstrikes casting doubt on the truce's stability.

I certainly agree that his actions are grounds for impeachment, Constitutionally. Our founders never envisioned a gay president, much less one who presumes to unilaterally start wars for the guy whose dick he sucks. That is why they gave the LEGISLATURE - NOT THE EXECUTIVE - the power to make war. Trump purloined that power.

Here's another thingamabob: The UN Charter is a treaty. It is the foundational treaty of the United Nations, establishing the organization's structure, principles, and goals. It was signed on June 26, 1945, and came into force on October 24, 1945. It is binding on all UN member states, as joining the UN requires signing the treaty. The United States are obligated by that treaty. As such, the UN Charter's prohibitions and agreements are LAW OF THE LAND. Would you like to see what it says about bombing folks? It prohibits even the mere THREAT of force against any state's territorial integrity or political independence, except in specific situations like self-defense or when authorized by the UN Security Council. Neither case existed in any hetersexual sense when trump acted as israel's little bitch against iran.

The US is also signatory to the Hague Conventions, which require that hostilities should not begin without prior warning, either through a declaration of war or an ultimatum - no cowardly sneak attacks on countries. Iran was told they had two weeks and then was hit with a surprise attack by a president who acted unilaterally, without congressional approval, in violation of the Hague Conventions and other treaties which form the basis of the "rules based order" (international law) that US politicians like to run their mouths about. 

Trump's actions were lawless on many, many levels. AOC is like that broken clock. That is, she's right. But her party is as neocon as the *** repuke party, and it will never dare punish trump for following their master's orders.
