I got a load of Palantir and they had received shares in a company called Surf Air for services rendered.

If you understand Palantir you know what drives their business....so I decided to buy Surf Air too.

Palantir announced they added several million more shares....made 107% in two days.

Thanks Palantir....I will be watching closely for more great purchases you all do in the future

Yeah, I've done that too.  The one thing the "investment advisors" (stock pickers) are right about is that you miss the biggest up days trying to time the market like that. I don't mechanically dollar-cost average into a stock.  But, if I'm convicted on a particular stock, I start accumulating that stock over time, watching its fundamentals and making sure I'm not overpaying. In the long run, an average "fair price" is actually a great investment.

I never listen to stock pickers....mostly use charting and previous experience with particular stocks

There's this guy on you tube...he real accurate and he tells you what he's doing and why....I tried his picks about a month ago....so far 2 for 2 on winners

There's an egg-headed guy that I listen to on Youtube that does deep dives into exactly what Nvidia is doing.  He breaks it down very nicely.  That company is amazing. If I didn't have a wife and an investment advisor holding me back, I'd probably bet everything I have on that one stock. 

The chart-readers are more momentum investors.  I'm not really a momentum investor - more of a value investor myself.  Except, I'm not looking for "great deals".  I look for good deals in companies I really like. I've got to believe in the company's products or services. Then, I look at the fundamentals and various price points.

Big tech was beat up pretty good over the past 2 quarters.  Fears about supply.  I agree, Big Tech wants to run - when supply constraints look like their easing, it will.

Well, all you can do is try and make some money riding the crazy train and then buy a place deep in the woods.  That way if the bots ever do find you, they will just kill you quickly.
