I listen to 101.7 The Duck locally that plays the Oldies of Now 70,80,90s..   I listen to the music much more intently now then I did back in the day and the hippy  musicians were probably tripping on acid and phooking love couches, but they did have an idea where we would be today and where we might end up.

Dad could not get enough Brahms and Mozart..  

It is sad you are not in tune with us..  Sometimes I think the only reason ET dropped an asteroid on the dinosaurs was because their music sucked. They deflect them from us so they can enjoy a concert at the Sphere..

I've listened to lots of music over the course of my life, Johnny.  And, enjoyed much of it, particularly played or composed by talented musicians, or even just bleeding edge for its time. From classical to thrash metal, punk to rockabilly/punkabilly, bluegrass to surf instrumental to new-age/spa.  Kraftwerk, Ennio Morricone, GG Allin, Man or Astroman, Richard Monsour,  Farrokh Bulsara, Antonio Vivaldi, BB King, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, Jerry Goldsmith the B52's and many others.

It's just that I've always been completely bored with most mainstream music. Occasionally, there's a gem in the **** pile.
