"Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana"
Bob Marshall was from the NE states and was famous as a mountain guy. He moved out to Montana and became famouse here too. "Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana".
My dad and older brothers were big game hunters. I was more into bird hunting and fishing, but I hunted elk and deer too.
I killed one elk in my life. We were hunting the foothills of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. My dad had a 7mm Browning Magnum and his health was slowly failing so he asked if I would trade guns with him that day. I inherited dad's .243 Winchester which was much lighter than dad's 7mm Mag, so he asked to trade me for the day.
It turned out to be a magical day. I was walking by myself and suddenly saw a 4 point (8 points if you count both sides) bull elk and I got the shot I've always wanted and bagged my one and only elk.
