A federal appeals court has declined to reconsider a three-judge panel’s decision to uphold Alina Habba’s disqualification as the top federal prosecutor in New Jersey, paving the way for the Justice Department to take President Trump’s fight to retain loyalist U.S. attorneys to the Supreme Court.

In a terse order Monday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit said the judges who ruled that Habba, a former personal attorney to Trump, was unlawfully appointed as U.S. attorney for New Jersey did not ask to rehear the case. A majority of judges voted against putting the matter in front of the full court, as well. 

Three of the court’s 11 en banc judges would have granted the Justice Department’s request to rehear the case, and one of them will publish a dissent “on a later date,” the order said.

Judge Emil Bove, another of Trump’s former attorneys who was appointed by the president to the bench, did not take part in the vote.

The decision keeps intact the panel’s ruling that Habba’s tenure became unlawful when she remained in the role after her 120-day interim term expired, despite the “novel series of legal and personnel moves” the administration took to keep her in the job.

Tariffs are the fees WE pay. The fees the CONSUMER pays. 

In the case of Brazil's coffee, that's 35 percent of the coffee we drink. And when THAT coffee goes up, coffee imported from other countries will raise their prices just because they can, to make more profits. 

You see, TARIFFS distort the free market. They remove the element of COMPETITION. Before tariffs, Mexican coffee had to compete with Brazilian. Now, it only has to compete with [Brazilian plus tariffs]. 

Tariffs distort markets. If you believe in free markets, you have to be against tariffs. Because you cannot have both.

Let's see if you've got the balls to admit that when the final trade deal that Trump makes with Brazil provides us with an increased tariff rate over the current 10% they were paying.  And since we all know you won't, rest assured that I'll be happy to prove it to show how ignorant you are when the final trade deal Trump makes is a far better one for this country!

Tariffs are not paid by the country they are put on.

They are paid by American consumers. 

You have a right to your opinions, but the facts are objective reality and they belong to all of us. You don't get to gay them out of existernce, no matter HOW much you jut your chin.

I'm sure we, as internet political forum posters a clued in to all aspect of government and world procedures

Can you give me a comprehensive breakdown on how each and every tariff dollar charged, collected and exactly who is paying that dollar.

Does the tariffed country contribute in any way to the tariff dollar charged?....do the manufacturers contribute?...and how much if any does the country and manufacture contribute in actual numbers?

I buy lighting and outdoor patio/kitchen equipment in bulk occasionally.....most made overseas...my pricing hasn't exploded due to tariffs.....so...where does the "WE" come in and to what degree?

God I just can't wait for this information....I might owe those I purchase this stuff thru some tariff money the forgot to charge me.
