I'm sure we, as internet political forum posters a clued in to all aspect of government and world procedures

Can you give me a comprehensive breakdown on how each and every tariff dollar charged, collected and exactly who is paying that dollar.
Not a problem. You can go full gay if you want and use woman math, but here is how tariffs work.

The importer has to pay the tariff and passes the cost to the consumer.

Put on your big boy panties on this one, neffie. You don't get to politicize and homosexualize mathematics, or change the way that tariffs have always worked. Tariffs are a tax on American consumers. Any educated conservative already knows that tariffs - which are TAXES on consumers - funded the early US government, along with excise taxes.

The tariff is charged to the importer. The country of origin contributes nothing. The manufacturer contributes nothing.

Did you know that manufacturers are actually in the game for a profit? It's true - the whole thing is a big "profit game." Manufacturers do not sell under cost. And in the manufacturing game, products are already sold on slim margins, due to global competetiion - which global competition, if we are speaking as men, "we" will admit you used to call me a comnist for objecting to.

I suppose that "overseas," to a fella like yourself, is "the tariff place." And so, to you, it is a great marvel that your cost on that item has not exploded. I would love to help you understand that particular wrinkle in the market, but you know how cranky I get when I have to do remedial.

I'm not God, and you don't owe. Not EVERYTHING from "overseas" is tariffed. But coffee is. And that does not hurt Brazil nearly as much as it hurts the American consumer. We are still going to buy coffee. We don't grow the stuff.

I order my coffee four 2 pound bags for slightly less than $70
I can now get the same coffee two four pound bags for half the price
so I save 50% each time I order
but I have to order twice as much
and save double

I also know a guy with one leg and he sells me the shoe he doesn't use for less than half a new pair of shoes

they sell them on Ebay so I'm saving them up....silver is too pricy but left shoes are bank

Ok BV. Let's compare our definitions of Survivorship Bias and why yours is as useless as you. - Liberal Forum Political Chat Room

Deal:
Deal: Veghead claimed he already answered this question. LOL. If Veghead proves that he did indeed answer the survivorship multiple choice question below, as the question is written and asked, along with his defense of his answer, then I will agree to never come back. I am permabanned. Gone. Like a fart in the wind. If he cannot, then he is out of here for a month. Additionally, his defense cannot be "Because it fits my definition." That is a claim, not a defense. He is to defend why.  His evidence must precede the timestamp upon when this challenge has been agreed upon by both parties. Moreover, he must answer immediately when the mods say "go," That next post. Not the next 600 posts. Either Cannon or Deezer mods.

Exception: I will allow for an exception. If he loses, then I will allow him to stay if he answers it the way it is asked, along with his defense. However, he must do it immediately after the deal has been decided. Not 100 posts later. The very next post of his must be his answer/defense.
Which scenario is an example of survivorship bias in evaluating business success?

A) Believing that reading business books increases revenue after finding many CEOs recommend them.
B) Concluding that most startups fail after analyzing bankrupt companies.
C) Thinking entrepreneurship is easy because most media profiles focus on successful founders.
D) Surveying customers to understand why they chose your product over competitors
