There's no denying that the NY Times has been among the biggest Jew-haters in media, so you're right, they're opinions will ALWAYS be slanted against Israel.
The only worthwhile point right now in the Middle East is the fact that Iran has had their nuclear program destroyed, costing them hundreds of billions of dollars, and have had many of their nuclear scientists and engineers assassinated, along with a huge number of ranking military leaders.  So there's little doubt they have the ability any longer to continue funding terror through Hamas, Hezbollah, or with the Houthis in Yemen.  
And that's a HUGE positive for the world and a feather in the cap of both Trump and Netanyahu, despite any claims to the contrary made by the idiot leftists at the NY Times.
