My post was so nice, you hadda answer it twice.

Without a doubt, he has blood on his hands. But so would I in his place - so I don't judge.
The only relevant question, in MY opinion, is whether he is good for Russia. The way to answer that question is to compare Russia 1999 to Russia 2025 - because he's been in the driver's seat during the interim.
As a believer in the nation state, that is how I judge a leader.
Not necessarily. If Trump caused a depression by destroying the federal reserve and returning to Constitutional government, he would be an American hero in my book. Sometimes a nation going into low gear only LOOKS like a disaster. In my opinion, Putin is actively and deliberately representing the intersts of unborn Russians. In my opinion, a leader holds himself accountable to all stakeholders - not just the ones at the table. Even to stakeholders not yet born.DeezerShoove » 12 Aug 2025, 10:57 pm » wrote: ↑ That would mean you'll always be opposed to any American leader.
How did you reach your social opinion? Following history or adapting in plain sight. You picked only one of the two. Guess why humanity became absolutely corrupted daily here between freedom of personal choices and rule of law directing social decisions among 5 generations co-existing by chromosomes evolving in series parallel time conceived to dead so far.Cannonpointer » 12 Aug 2025, 11:53 pm » wrote: ↑ Not necessarily. In all of my endeavors, I try to account for (and to) every stakeholder. And a stakeholder can also be property - like my chickens. I clean their coop each morning with a cat shovel. They roost over sand, not wood chips. And each day when I clean that coop, I do so as a steward who is accountable to stake holders. I do so in the belief, right or wrong, that God is watching. And that this was how he built me: accountable. How I feed the dogs, how I care for the hens, how I deal with members of my family and extended community - these are the things by which I judge my own character.
I get to do no harm. Putin does not have that luxury. I try to think downstream, always. But my stream is smaller, and easier. He has a much tougher life than I do- whatever the outward trappings. He lost himself 25 years ago, when the crooks decided to dump their mess onto his shoulders. He became the state personified. And when you're gonna run Russia, you gotta be one tough son of a bitch. Smart and also clever and also ballsy - capable of brutal cruelty. Putin is all of those things - a real leader. Not some pansy politician. He's Russia. And when he goes, he will not be replaced for a hundred years. Let the reaper tary, I pray.

If you read your own post carefully, you betray that you believe Putin is an honest leader.DeezerShoove » 13 Aug 2025, 7:56 am » wrote: ↑ I am not so Putinized that I find any great love or respect for him.
He's playing his hand as dealt the best he can, I guess. That's just being a politician IMO.
He has "Hillaried" a few of his fellow countrymen along the way. Brutal is as brutal does.
Don't get me wrong though. We have had sound bite, filtered, woke politics going on in this country WAAAAY too long, so I find any politician that speaks off the cuff refreshing. Sometimes that's the only way to get an inkling of the truth out of our assholes.
They too, have had a mess oozed onto their shoulders. Then just roll with it... the slimey ****.
So are there ANY about which we can say "He's America"?
The answer is 'yes' if you consider America a slimey woke swamp.
The answer is 'no' if you consider America on the wrong path waiting for a course correction.
btw That course correction will take more than one man. We recycle.
Even you point out that Putin's been fixing **** for over 6 of our presidential terms.
Can Trump set the stage for the next ****-stirrer? Dem/progs will do the same thing to whomever that is:
Hinder at all costs to make that person wade through **** every day in office. Maybe it will be easier if the stage is set.
I am not much for this, but what the hell - I pray too.

We will not produce a leader until after the great purge. The elite are planning our deaths. I believe it will lead to theirs. Either way, there will be a purge.
Of course he is KGB. Always.
The moment you stop pretending what you mind after birth is greater than the brain you received with conception your contextual faith releases you from hypothetical values history is used against you 24/7.Cannonpointer » 12 Aug 2025, 4:30 pm » wrote: ↑ Did I?
They have no state. They have a prison.
They are being RECOGNIZED as a state, in response to this genocide. But they are prisoners of israel.
That reminded me of an old famous quote, "war is the continuation of politics by other means".. von Clausewitz, of course it had to be a german but I'm sure Putin agrees..DeezerShoove » 11 Aug 2025, 6:53 pm » wrote: ↑ This is why this "war" is so convoluted in its support/opposition.
The winds of war are less **** up than the winds of diplomacy much of the time.
Of course that's the main reason I pointed out how old that quote is: 20+ years.
The evolution of the situation is completely lost on people many times.
btw
I also will not forget Putin was, probably still is, a KGB man.
Spooks never change.

Citizens that sat still for mass kidnappings by goon squads "recruiting" for the military are suddenly taking to the streets over the passage of an unpopular law.
In reality, the US and EU apparatchiks have been activated - astro-turf mobs are filling the street.
After years of covering for Zelensky, suddenly the G7, the EU, and the US are all turning on Coupkraine, as if on command - as if it were scripted.
Zelensky likely has a date with alight pole.

I have my doubts, sissy.

And the height to which you can never rise.
