Hippocrates starts with H too. I bet Hitler thought elminating them was probably the best outcome they could have.

Man, looking at the conservative side of things is tough.  But  it is creeping in with age and the roller coaster ride upward on the roller coaster of enlightenment on the Dunning Kruger Graph.  People do turn off looking outside the box.  It is scary, and it feels like I am looking out through a peephole on one side.

12 Billion Souls will be unsustainable.  But 4 billion more everyday is a shytload of GDP.  I have said the only reason we have not Armegeddon'd it is tthey know it is bad for business and their enormous horde of wealth.

I wish you would rethink the carbon emissions thing.  That said I saw a biofuel plant in NB blew up today. Killed 3 people.

Bio-fuel is a crime against humanity. Burning food in a world where people starve is the work of devils.

I wish YOU would rethink sustainability. Every damned generation, "enlightened" asses insist that we have too many people - and that x-amount more will result in horrors beyond description. And every time - and I mean EVERY time - we hit the mark they said would break the world, we see an enormous dip in poverty and an enormous lengthening of life spans. We have more people living more years consuming more - and the way that the world works, everything turns into ****, and all good and worthy things are born of ****. The world is a spinning ****. Praise ****. Thank God for ****. **** is the author of all life. 

In the world I was born in, there were 3 billion people. The people of Bolivia had a life expectancy of 41 years. Today it is 73. In 1959, the population was 3.5 million. Today it is 12.5 million. So you have near 4 times the people living near twice as long. And Bolivia is still mostly jungle. The vast majority were without running water and electricity. Today, 100% have electricity. Over 90% have running water.

We have passed many population Gates of Certain Doom in my life time.It was 4, then 6, then 8. Now it's 9. And there were gates before I was ever born - my birth helped breach the 3-billion Gate of Doom. The world is still largely uninhabited by human beings. It's mostly wilderness. Another 4 billion is barely a drop in the bucket of this planet's carrying capacity. Africa alone could handle the current human population of the earth-and still have its wildlife. 

The issue you OUGHT to be concerned about is urban planning,  if you are concerned for the environment. It's high time that humanity stop making towns by accident and start making cities on purpose.
