it is not so much poverty it is evil.  in america if a dog or cat or even an opossum needs help 50 people will help. in egypt all they do is post /up/up/ if that much,

I am in a cat group in my area and I see posts in egypt and I see the difference.

and the egyptian gov does not spay/ neuter and they just kill dogs so american tourists don't see stray dogs everywhere,

it may be just a situation where the dog/cat needs food. up up is all they do.

Most Americans are compassionate towards dogs and cats. They are highly valued here. I don't think Americans would be bothered by it. I went to Greece back in the late 90s. There were stray dogs everywhere. They even pranced into the restaurants. The owners did their best to keep them out, but the American tourists didn't care. Nor did other Europeans. The dogs weren't mean. They were relatively friendly. The owners didn't torture them or do anything inhumane. They just tried to keep them out.

they would be shocked that the dogs were killed for their sake.egypt makes a lot of money thru tourists. and horror  stories abound. behind the hilton dogs were poisoned.

yes europeans would be shocked. one time a european could not believe all the ups and how people walked by a cat yelling in pain with a broken paw.

I can turn the same thing on you and ask why you don't recognize Palestinians are the terrorist aggressors. It's not Israel sending suicide bombers into restaurants and public busses, it's not Israel killing Olympic athletes, it's not Israel firing thousands of rockets into residential neighborhoods, it's not Israel who killed young people at a music festival that started this latest war. 

When Israel counter punches, after being struck first, I can understand.

israel takes advanatage that they are never blamed and do what they want and when others strike back they are very good at saying they are victims.

if israel was not allowed to do what they do may be they would not get bombed  by iraq etc.

go back two weeks each case and you  will see who strikes first.
