Trump is reviving the presidential fitness test. Did it work before?
The test was conducted in U.S. public schools for decades until it was retired by the Obama administration. Here’s what to know about it and why Trump wants it back.

Let's see him pass it...on PPV...Should be a snap for a guy built like an NFL safety.
The question is why did the halfrican get rid of it?

And why did Mike let him do it? I thought Mike was all about fitness. He had played football in his youth, as I understand it.

Sir, did it work before? Yup.  There were less fat kids.

Of course the Obama admin got rid of it.  Obama and Mike were the beginning of the woke movement.  The excuse I am hearing is that they didn't feel kids should feel bad about their athletic abilities.  Well the test wasn't about athletic abilities.  That is what sports are for.  This was about physical fitness.  Big difference.

Mr Vegetable, to be honest, even one with no athletic abilities at all that sits in a cubicle can be enjoy physical fitness.

Google AI question:

child obesity is bigger today than in the 70s

Answer:

Yes, childhood obesity rates are significantly higher today compared to the 1970s. In the United States, the prevalence of obesity among children and adolescents has more than tripled since the 1970s, according to the CDC. In the 1970s, about 5% of children were considered obese, whereas today, it's closer to 20%.

In the 70s we had the Presidential Fitness Test.

We didn't have high fructose corn syrup in everything we ate and drank. Food was relatively more expensive, and spending on fast and processed foods much lower.

Obama was POTUS fron 1/2009 to 1/2017.

Mr Vegetable, you should have done some research:
We didn't have high fructose corn syrup in everything we ate and drank. Food was relatively more expensive, and spending on fast and processed foods much lower.

Google AI:

when did high fructose corn syrup come out

High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) was first developed in 1957 by chemists Richard Marshall and Earl Kooi. It was commercially introduced in the late 1960s and gained widespread use in the 1970s and 1980s, particularly as a cheaper alternative to sugar.

Sir, as much as it Pains me to say this:

Acknowledge that your jive has been taintpunted.

SIr, I would recommend that you stay away from this topic.

PS.  A man would not ask who was Prez during that time frame.  A man would say from Jan 2009 until Jan 2017 Obama was President AND he did away with the Physical Fitness Test.

Please stop.

Stick to running from your words and questions.

From your source:
In the 1980s, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) CEO Dwayne Andreas successfully lobbied President Ronald Reagan to enact a sugar import quota. This policy artificially increased the price of cane sugar, making high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) a cheaper alternative for the food industry, particularly in beverages. This shift had a significant impact on the American diet, contributing to the widespread use of HFCS in processed foods and potentially influencing health outcomes.
