That's true.  After living thru the Cold War in the 60s, 70s and 80s, and with the first 6 plus years of my military career spent during the til end of the Cold War (83-89} I don't get this wrapped up over this kinda stuff.

I remember nuclear drills in school and building with the radiation symbol and a sign that said bomb shelter.  Boy, were we dumb.

That's ok.  BV said he did not have to do that when lived  in Sweden.  He than ran after I agreed to his conditions on asking questions. Mr. Vegetable insist I never did although I posted my agreement 12 or 13 times.

Sweeden has small military but is a major producer/manufactuer of military equitment including Jas Gripen fighter jets
