You don’t have to like Huckabee to admit he’s doing the job he was sent there to do. Ambassadors aren’t graded on vibes, they’re graded on whether they execute the administration’s agenda, maintain access to the host government, and keep their people informed during crises. On all three fronts he’s performing exactly as effectively as any of his predecessors, just with a different communication style. You can argue about tone, but the actual job performance is right in line with what past ambassadors were expected to deliver. I'm looking forward to Sarah Huckabee being the Ambassador once JD wins in 28.
