Very simple, genius!  Isn't it a FACT that a business WHICH IS HAVING RECORD HIGH PROFITS has no reason to raise prices other than their own greed?  How come all you liberals scream and cry about "corporate greed", except when Trump objects to it and speaks out against it?
Businesses will always increase prices when a company doesn't believe doing so will negatively affect sales.  And when a company like Wal-Mart thinks they can push the blame off on Trump's tariffs, they'll try to do so!

it’s equally ridiculous to say that tariffs will not result in higher prices on some stuff

I don't distrust Reuters on this issue. But two out of three ships diverted from Indian ports is far, far less than one day's supply of oil for India. Aframax class tankers - all three ships in the Reuters story are Aframax - carry 800,000 bbls maximum, and typically closer to 750,000. India uses over 5 million barrels per day. This makes the diversion one third of one day's supply. 

India gets over a third of its oil from Russia. That's 600 million bbls a year. If India buys from other sources, whoever WOULD have bought THAT oil will buy THEIR oil from Russia. Trump is making an absolute *** of himself - and India is still buying oil from Russia. And they will continue, so long as Russia keeps producing oil. If India doesn't, someone else will. And ya know why? People need oil. Even when there's a bully **** with them, they STILL need oil.
