Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told Fox Business that he expects President Donald Trump’s sweeping new tariffs — which went into effect Thursday — to bring in $50 billion in revenue monthly.

“These are amazing numbers … and no one’s retaliating,” he said Thursday morning. “Everybody understands you’ve got to sell to the American consumer. The American consumer is the most powerful factor on the Earth for the economy, and Donald Trump is harnessing it for the benefit of the American people.”

While Lutnick celebrated the number, he did not note that companies often pass the cost of tariffs on to the consumer in the form of price increases. Additionally, as The Washington Post has reported, some economists worry that Trump’s new trade policy could cause the economy to shrink and rupture certain alliances that domestic producers have relied upon to manufacture cheap goods.

If you had a brain, you'd realize a tariff is the same as a sales tax. You aren't required to buy a product, unlike an income tax that is confiscatory.

Just for you: "**** you if you think I am going to define that for you.  Like I said, I am not your mother. Look it up."

Which scenario is an example of survivorship bias in evaluating business success?

A) Believing that reading business books increases revenue after finding many CEOs recommend them.
B) Concluding that most startups fail after analyzing bankrupt companies.
C) Thinking entrepreneurship is easy because most media profiles focus on successful founders.
D) Surveying customers to understand why they chose your product over competitors
1. "I posted my definition of survivorship bias..." To which I will reply with the usual and the video.
2. Continue with your step 4 evasion
3. Continue to copy me
4. Continue with non-answers.
5. November, 2022.
6. Continue to lie about me posting my definition in my example, while he continues to refuse to read it.
