You tell me.  Below is your first post.  My guess is you did not read the OP before commenting and you tried to be witty.  You were clueless what the topic was.  On your thread I provided you with a link to the EVs that VW produces. You have no excuse not by one now.  Have the courage of your convictions.

WASHINGTON, July 16 (Reuters) - Automakers face no fines for failures to meet fuel efficiency rules dating back to the 2022 model year under a law signed by President Donald Trump this month, U.S. regulators said.

The tax and budget bill approved by Trump ends penalties for not meeting Corporate Average Fuel Economy rules under a 1975 energy law.

What I would really like to get a hold of is a 1969 Cadillac Eldorado.  The in the Toronado were among the first front wheel drive American cars. The Cord 810/812 were the first. but only made in 36 and 37. It had a 472 V8.  Huge,  The car was all front end.

The engine was bigger than most Police cars.

I’m sorry.  This is about CAFE standards and cars.  Never cared about a 75 lb dumbbell, or a 170 lb Dumbell for that matter.

The Rimac Nevera is currently the fastest production car in terms of 0-60 mph acceleration, achieving the feat in just 1.74 seconds according to Carbuzz.com. It is an all-electric hypercar with four electric motors producing 1,914 horsepower, according to duPont REGISTRY News. While other cars like the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 have achieved impressive 0-60 times, they often rely on specialized conditions or prepped surfaces for those results. The Rimac Nevera's record is based on official, independently verified tests. For example, the Demon 170's 1.66-second 0-60 time, while impressive, is achieved with special tires and surface preparation, according to Jalopnik. Here's a comparison:Rimac Nevera: 1.74 seconds (official, independently verified).Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170: 1.66 seconds (with specialized conditions).McMurtry Spierling: 1.55 seconds (claimed, not officially road-legal). So, while the Demon 170 might be quicker in specific scenarios, the Rimac Nevera holds the title for the fastest 0-60 production car based on real-world, independently verified performance.

So what you are saying is that in order to get an EV into the MODERN Muscle Car advanced range (not affordable production cars) one must spend over 2 million dollars as opposed to 92,000 for the Demon.

Keep it coming Dr. Google.

And don't gbother, I know all about the FIA's Formula E series.

I am not the one furiously googling **** to come and play gotcha.  I also don't need to worry about going 0-60 in less than 2 seconds or under 8 for the quarter mile.

I did drive a NASCAR sanctioned race car one afternoon.

By the way, I have more real life experience with anything that has wheels and an engine than you do.

Oh, trust me, I am not presuming.  I was working on Muscle Cars when you were exercising your options on a19th Century Russian Studies Degree.  When you were an office boy pretending to be a New Yorker I was driving really fast on the Autobahn as well as flying above it.

I can take just about any vehicle, right now, without any training and rive it.  That is from a go cart to a crotch rocket to an 18 where with an 10m=, 13 or 18 speed manual transmission.
