I'm quite sure everyone here knows the reason you can't let go of your foolish argument.
I had a rental Camry and they didn't tell me it was a hybrid. I got in and pushed the button to start it.Cannonpointer » 28 Aug 2025, 10:08 am » wrote: ↑ Jaggov, I know what an EV is.
EVs plug in. Hybrids don't.
You claimed that my 2013 hybrid was an EV. It wasn't.
You can run all the sleazy distraction games you want, little girl. My hybrid was still not an EV.
Take the L, ***. Walk it off, and give Coach 110% next time.
Don't say that to dick sucker Zeke.*Roshambo » 29 Aug 2025, 8:53 pm » wrote: ↑ I had a rental Camry and they didn't tell me it was a hybrid. I got in and pushed the button to start it.
Dasboard lit up but the engine didn't start. Pushed the start button again and the dash shut off.
It messed around with it for 5 minutes and went back to the service counter. They
showed me how to "turn it on". It took some getting used to.
This was a "Hybrid" of course. Not an EV by any stretch of the imagination
You're free to stubbornly deny the fact that a car can be both an EV AND a hybrid because you can't stand the thought of having your dumb *** kicked again, as I've done repeatedly in the past. So I'll just continue exposing that fact with the Toyota definition of their EV mode that the Prius IS AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE!Cannonpointer » 29 Aug 2025, 4:25 pm » wrote: ↑ You said it plugged in. You were wrong. It's not an EV. It's a hybrid.
It was a conventional hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), meaning it used a combination of an electric motor and a gasoline engine.Guide to EV mode in PriusThe EV mode in Toyota Prius allows the car to run exclusively on battery power while not using the internal combustion engine, or what many Prius owners call ICE, at all. In this mode, your Prius will obtain maximum fuel economy, run quieter, and could even be a bit faster.
An EV is a fully electric vehicle. It plugs in. It does not take gas.Zeets2 » 30 Aug 2025, 9:24 am » wrote: ↑ You're free to stubbornly deny the fact that a car can be both an EV AND a hybrid because you can't stand the thought of having your dumb *** kicked again, as I've done repeatedly in the past. "EV Mode": While the 2013 Prius had an "EV Mode" button, it only allowed the car to operate on electric power for a very limited distance at low speeds
How is it that you can deny the fact that a care with TWO electric motors that's designed with an EV MODE to run SOLELY ON IT'S ELECTRIC BATTERY can't be called an EV?
If you willingly choose to be that ignorant, there's no hope for you without medical help.
You should seek it at your earliest convenience.

OK, you idiot!Cannonpointer » 30 Aug 2025, 10:02 am » wrote: ↑ An EV is a fully electric vehicle. It plugs in. It does not take gas.
A hybrid is a car that runs on gas, and has en EV mode that can be accessed very briefly.

Show me where it says that ONLY a "FULLY" electric vehicle can be called an EV!
I will, as soon as you show me that ONLY a FULLY ELECTRIC VEHICLE can be called an EV.Cannonpointer » 30 Aug 2025, 10:24 am » wrote: ↑ AI Overview
The primary difference is that a hybrid vehicle combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor and battery to improve fuel efficiency, while an electric vehicle (EV) runs solely on electricity, using only a battery and electric motor and producing no tailpipe emissions. Hybrids never need to be plugged in and are refueled at gas stations, whereas EVs require charging at a charging station or home outlet, and often have a simpler mechanical design with less maintenance.
You said my hybrid needed to be plugged in. You mocked me for not knowing that.
You were wrong. Walk it off, little bitch. Hit the showers, and give Coach 110% next time.

No, a traditional hybrid (HEV) is not considered a full electric vehicle (EV) because it relies primarily on a gasoline engine and does not need to be plugged in to charge its small battery
AN EV IS FULLY ELECTRIC, FRUITCAKE.
The dick. Climb down.
Read it again, stupid.Zeets2 » 30 Aug 2025, 1:12 pm » wrote: ↑ That DOES NOT say that, you **** moron!
It says a Hybrid Electric Vehicle is not considered a FULL electric vehicle! It DOESN'T say it's not considered an electric vehicle AT ALL!
You just can't stand the fact that I've kicked your dumb *** again, can you, ***?Cannonpointer » 30 Aug 2025, 1:17 pm » wrote: ↑ Read it again, stupid.
That is precisely what it says.
A hybrid is a hybrid, an EV is an EV, and a dick sucker is you, ya simple queer.
Now admit the fact that ALL PRIUS VEHICLES HAVE AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND AN EV MODE that allows them to run on ELECTRICITY ONLY!DO ALL PRIUS CARS HAVE AN ELECTRIC MOTOR?
Yes, all Toyota Prius models are equipped with a hybrid drivetrain that combines an internal combustion engine with an electric motor. This design allows them to achieve better fuel efficiency and lower emissions compared to traditional gasoline-only vehicles. The EV mode in Toyota Prius allows the car to run exclusively on battery power while not using the internal combustion engine, or what many Prius owners call ICE, at all. In this mode, your Prius will obtain maximum fuel economy, run quieter, and could even be a bit faster.
Never denied that.Zeets2 » 30 Aug 2025, 2:15 pm » wrote: ↑

No, electric vehicles (EVs) do not have gas motors; they are powered solely by an electric motor and a large battery pack that is charged by plugging into an external power source.

Yes, hybrid cars have an internal combustion engine (ICE) that runs on gasoline
Okay, climb down off the dick now.

Oh, you've BEEN shown. EVs run on electric. That is why they are called EVs.Zeets2 » 01 Sep 2025, 12:03 pm » wrote: ↑ OK, nitwit, apparently you want to climb out even further on the weak tree branch!
