I wouldn't call my Impreza a hot rod. 

It's a hatch back, making it easy to carry chicken feed and such. The seats lay down to let me carry lumber or small machines. 

But I will grant it is not as comfortable for long drives as a decent pickup truck.

Better than an old Mazda/Ford Ranger. But not exactly an F250 SD King Cab.

I can run a football for a short distance. Neither model is an EV. EVs run on electricity - not gas.

I'm driving the Imprza. I like it. It doesn't ride like an F250 SD king cab, But it's okay for a compact that gets 30 to the gallon. 

I put pretty serious miles on a car. I'm 10 weeks into this one with 9k miles. I need AWD, and I need that decent gas mileage.

Sounds like you get around.  I used to like driving....now the thought of a long road trip has lost it's appeal

In our 20s and 30s,we are collecting our friends, gathering our communities, forming bonds that will last a life time. We have all the energy in the world to go do cool stuff with those friends and build memories with them.

In our 40s and 50s, our responsibilities increase and our energies decrease a smidgen. We work to maintain those friendships, because they are important, and we value them. But it's harder. It was all fun, and now it's a bit of a chore.

In our 60s and 70s, we're drilling down and cutting people loose. We're deciding which friendships are worth the work and which are not. 

I expect in our 80s and 90s we'll be looking at old photos and asking who that is...
