I understand perfectly!  There are some laws you want to see enforced, and there are other laws you don't mind when they're ignored. 

Do you deny that those on the left that you love so much are doxing the ICE agents which has forced them to shield their identification for the safety of themselves and their families?  Even your liberal politicians breaking the law to hide illegals doesn't bother you in the slightest, doe it?

So did the red legislatures not have any control over the blue cities and have no culpability in their current state?

Larry Hogan was a red governor (an actual Republican with Integrity) in a blue state.  He was able to control the narrative some. He did not get everything he wanted. I fully backed his quest for financial integrity. I was opposed to his tough on crime approach as a solution. Now I think we need that approach at The Whitey House and the Supreme Court.

• Photos and locations of agents and their spouses posted on doxxing websites [2]

"Tough on crime" is certainly not MY first choice, either. But we have some real problems addressing crime that people like you are at the root of. Let me elucidate:

The PROPER course of action in sentencing a criminal is to take into consideration a number of things, including previous criminal history and community support. By community support I mean the number of people willing to vouch for and speack up for a defendant. This would include job prospects and family support. If a fellow has no criminal record and a boss that wants to employ him and a family that wants to surround and support him, that is what I would call a damned good reason for a suspended sentence and what YOU would frame as white privilege. Because that is precisely what our sentencing guidelines look like, and your masters feed you the sentencing statistics and tell you that racism - NOT OBJECTIVE CRITERIA - are at cause in the matter of disparate sentencing for black criminals.

And so we end up wringing our hands and talking about white privilege and systemic racism. And systemic racism IS a real thing. But it is against white people almost exclusively - with an occasional side of white-adjacents (Asians).
