I wish everyday Americans could see what this really looks like.

This is Civil War.  I back the Power of the States.  As Trump did in the process of doing everything he could to weaken them.

If I were in the Texas National Guard I would go AWOL in protest. This ain't America.. Since the Posse Comi Ta-Ta's Act in the first CW. Guys, he is asking you to break your oath and sell your jesus to the devil in the process.

He is using a red states military against a blue state. this ain't right. It's facism 100%

All Chicago would have to do is to enforce federal laws and help hand over their thousands of illegals to ICE instead of harboring them and interfering with them!  Crime would drop precipitously and there would be far less of a need to send in National Guard troops to stop the crime!  But this is what happens when the government the voters stupidly elect are politicians who give them no-bail laws and makes their cities and states sanctuary zones for illegals.
Chicago has gotten the government they want, and personally, I'd let them get crushed by their crime until all the decent law-abiding citizens move away.  But Trump actually gives a **** about the dozens of blacks that are getting shot every week and unlike Biden OR Obama (the first black president) who did NOTHING to stop blacks from getting killed, Trump is determined to help the few good people remaining and make their city safer.

Of course, misguided libs like YOU can't stand that!  It proves your racist claims against Trump are total ****, and just like Trump proved with his closing the border, safety CAN be achieved in these blue states and cities IF the politicians ever gave a **** about them!  Crime in DC has been cut dramatically by the forces Trump has put in the city, but that's the last thing that Democrats want to see!  And they dread the fact that Trump's actions will continue in the long term with so many other Democrat-run high crime cities through next year and will cut into their chances of electing Democrats next November.

It's plainly apparent that this is all that Democrats care about, so they vigorously protest against making their cities safer.

My strategy is to always give them enough rope to hang themselves with, just like with CP.
