I have heard that phrase since the day I was born. Yet, I never really heard it defined or understood exactly what that is supposed to be? America is not the only country in the world that is considered free. Supposedly, both Americans and people around the world want to live "The American Dream." 

What exactly is that?

It sure doesn't help retired people accessing their retirement accounts that's for sure. You can't avoid the economic cycles .

Just FYI we haven’t had a real bear market since 2007-2009. 

You will KNOW it is a bear market when every dip you buy on almost any stock ends up lower in price 5 weeks later

The Comptroller has been saying get out of investments for months (along with inside knowledge we are sucking as a profit center, I am looking for work preemptively).. I am wondering if putting savings in Rupees could be a win down the road. I do not understand shorts, but the Rupee has been falling a long time and perhaps could be bought low.   The comptroller is an H1B from India, he says a low value rupee is in India's interest. He does have a masters in finance.  All the H1B's have one. I think they sell them at 7-11 to them only.

 A local employer has an automation specialist opening (they almost always do)..  I would like to be a rowboat technician.  Maybe I can get an Einstein Visa to get out of Dodge.
