We can certainly hope, but in my mind it's like trying to drain the ocean with a spoon.
I know that's their claim, and CBS has stated much the same thing, but the truth is it may be nothing more than an effort to keep them off of Trump's radar and avoid any retaliation from this administration.  And I don't think we'll know the truth until another Democrat wins the presidency, hopefully after I'm dead and buried.
