Sentencing is expected this week. He faces up to 40 years in prison. “The government wanted to remain in power by simply ignoring democracy — and that is what constitutes a coup d’état,” Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who was also named as a potential assassination target, said Tuesday from the bench. “The leader of the criminal group made it clear — publicly and in his own words — that he would never accept defeat at the ballot, a democratic loss in the elections, and that he would never abide by the will of the people.”

Deal: If Veghead can prove that he answered the survivorship multiple choice question, as the question is written and asked, along with his defense of his answer, then I will agree to never come back for as long as I live. If he cannot, then he is out of here for a month. Additionally, his defense cannot be "Because it fits my definition." That is a claim, not a defense. He is to defend why.
Exception: I will allow for an exception. If he loses, then I will allow him to stay if he answers it the way it is asked, along with his defense. However, he must do it immediately after the deal has been decided. Not 100 posts later. The very next post of his must be his answer/defense.

That's odd. I haven't called you anything concerning the Kirk killing. Unless of course this is your admission that you are a SOK of @BlackvegetableJohnnyYou » 11 Sep 2025, 3:45 pm » wrote: ↑ Sure. Why not?

Now, hurry - google up some ****.
I do not pretend to have a legitimate opinion of Brazil's electoral fracas. Lula himself spent time in prison after being convicted of corruption and money-laundering. Then he was sprung by some high ranking judges who decided the trial was tainted by judicial bias.

Lula had been a president, then a prisoner, and now is a president again. And the fellow who beat Lula's successor has in turn been imprisoned.
It's all very tacky and third world and nonwhite. And stupid people like yourself with very limited knowledge presume to opine as if the know something. I would be willing to wager I know a damned sight more about Brazil than you do - and I don't know NEARLY enough to start calling hits and fouls in their politics.

Brazil’s Supreme Court ruled the former president tried to reverse his 2022 election loss with a plot that included plans to assassinate President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
