Provide a list of mass shootings in the USA in 2025
This is a list of prominent mass shootings that occurred in the USA in 2025, based on reporting from sources such as 
no spam  and the  no spam . Note that the definition of a "mass shooting" varies among different organizations, with some considering incidents with four or more people shot (killed or injured) and others focusing only on fatalities. 
September 2025

• September 17, York County, Pennsylvania: Three police officers were killed and two others injured while serving an arrest warrant. The shooter then died by suicide.
• September 15, Minneapolis, Minnesota: Two separate shootings at homeless encampments resulted in a total of at least 13 injuries, with eight people wounded in one incident and five in another.
• September 11, Tampa, Florida: A shooting outside an apartment complex left a 17-year-old boy dead and five men wounded.
• September 8, Santa Ana, California: A gang-related shooting killed a 13-year-old boy and injured three other teenagers. 

August 2025

• August 27, Minneapolis, Minnesota: At the Annunciation Catholic Church, a shooter killed two children and injured 21 other people during morning Mass before dying by suicide.
• August 1, Anaconda, Montana: A man opened fire at a bar, killing four people, before fleeing the scene. 

July 2025

• July 28, Midtown Manhattan, New York City: A gunman opened fire inside a high-rise office building, killing four people and wounding another before killing himself. An additional four people were injured while fleeing.
• July 13, Lexington, Kentucky: A man shot a state trooper during a traffic stop, then drove to a church where he shot four people, killing two, before being shot and killed by police.
• July 2, Chicago, Illinois: A drive-by shooting outside a restaurant that was hosting an album release party killed four people and injured 14. 

April 2025

• April 17, Tallahassee, Florida: A gunman opened fire at Florida State University, killing two people and injuring five others. The suspect was shot and injured by police and later arrested.
• April 8, Spotsylvania County, Virginia: During an illegal gun sale, four teens opened fire, killing three people and injuring three others. 

February 2025

• February 22, Shiloh, Pennsylvania: A man opened fire at UPMC Memorial Hospital, killing a police officer and injuring five other people before being killed by police. One other person was injured while escaping.
• February 10, Byron, Wyoming: In a murder-suicide, a mother shot and killed three of her four daughters, and a fourth daughter died days later. 

January 2025

• January 1, New Orleans, Louisiana: A man, inspired by the Islamic State, used a truck to kill one person and injure five others during a New Year's celebration on Bourbon Street. He then exited the vehicle and opened fire before being fatally shot by police.
