Flynn had already been convicted....what was at issue was his appeal to have his conviction reversed.

The COURTS had NOT accepted his plea, the DOJ motioned to DROP ALL CHARGES and Trump pardoned him to ASSURE that the LEFTIST JUDGE didn't start playing games with the DOJ's dropping the charges.
