Altered or synthetic content may encompass material that is either entirely or partially modified or generated through any audio, video, or image creation or editing tools. In my opinion, these are akin to "click bait".
YouTube is a major conduit of online disinformation and misinformation worldwide and is not doing enough to tackle the spread of falsehoods on its platform.

I view specific videos on YouTube for travel and educational purposes, but I never watch them for "News". It is merely clickbait.

I observe two issues with this video.
1. The content creator might have modified the content, or they may not have done so.
2. Joe Rogan. For many years, Rogan has identified as socially liberal on specific issues. He has voiced support for same-sex marriage, recreational drug legalization, and universal healthcare, and has discussed the importance of a social safety net. In a 2022 podcast, he stated he is a "bleeding heart liberal when it comes to a lot of ****" and cited Republican attacks on gay marriage as strange.

YouTube removed the public display of the dislike button's counter to protect creators from harassment and "dislike bombing," which is a coordinated effort to downvote videos, and to promote a more respectful platform overall. However, creators still see the total number of dislikes on their videos, and the dislike button still functions to provide feedback to the YouTube algorithm.
