Letitia James - MANIFESTLY guilty of prosecutorial misconduct, given that she was elected on an illegally-proferred promise to go after Trump and thereby prejudiced any actions she subsequently took against him as she had a dog in the fight - is not currently under indictment and is highly unlikely ever to be again. Moreover, any indictment that ever DOES issue against her will be at BOTH considerable political cost and dubious odds of success. 

Considering that she pulled off her own prosecutorial misconduct, there is great irony on her own indictment being dismissed on a technicality involving the propriety of the prosecutor's appointment. After all, her entire existence in that office is based on unlawfully politicizing the office with promises to the electorate that she would "get Trump."
