yeah, I know all of that. It leaves out some important information. The fact that the Palestinians were on that land first. The UN told them to **** off, so Israel can have it. Justifiably, they were pissed. Not only did they just kick them out first, but the UN allowed Israel to take the rest of their land as well.Fuelman » 15 Oct 2025, 11:32 am » wrote: ↑ Yer history is a little **** up!
The civil war phase (1947–1948)Trigger: On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution to partition Mandatory Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states. The Jewish leadership accepted the plan, while the Arab leadership rejected it.Initial attacks: The very next day, on November 30, 1947, Palestinian Arab militias ambushed a bus carrying Jewish passengers near the town of Lod. This is often cited by historians as the start of the civil war in Palestine. Fighting began with attacks by Palestinian Arab irregulars and volunteers from neighboring countries against Jewish cities and settlements.Escalation: Over the following months, fighting intensified, and both Jewish and Arab militias carried out attacks and retaliations, including massacres and expulsions of civilians. For example, a Jewish paramilitary group massacred about 100 Arab villagers at Deir Yassin in April 1948, which led to a retaliatory Arab attack on a Jewish medical convoy in Jerusalem. The inter-state war phase (1948–1949)Start of invasion: After Israel declared its independence on May 14, 1948, the inter-state phase of the war began.Initial attacks: Armies from Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria invaded the new state the following day, May 15, 1948, with smaller contingents from other Arab countries joining them. Who was first? In summary, armed conflict began with attacks by Palestinian Arabs in December 1947, following their rejection of the UN Partition Plan. However, the larger, organized invasion by Arab state armies occurred on May 15, 1948, the day after Israel declared its independence.

Congrats, you have it exactly backwards.Vegas » 15 Oct 2025, 11:21 am » wrote: ↑ I took exception because your post was built on a lie. I debunked your lie. I debunked your lie, by showing how Israel have been the aggressors since the very beginning. They have always been the ones drawing first blood. Since day one. The rocket attacks that you quote are always in response to Israel's oppression. They don't happen in a vacuum. Israel has done a fantastic job in convincing Americans about how they are the victims of persecution, etc...blah blah blah....
The Indians were living on the ground your house sits on, do you think they have a case to burn you out and murder your family.....you can't have it both ways in your argument.....either the original inhabitants take precedent or they don't, so what is it?Vegas » 15 Oct 2025, 11:37 am » wrote: ↑ yeah, I know all of that. The difference is that Israel didn't conquer that land. We did. Their land was handed to them with a nice bow on it. If they are going to steal land, then at least fight for it like we did.RebelGator » 15 Oct 2025, 2:35 pm » wrote: ↑ The Indians were living on the ground your house sits on, do you think they have a case to burn you out and murder your family.....you can't have it both ways in your argument.....either the original inhabitants take precedent or they don't, so what is it?
Sure, they were on the land but you left out one very important distinction, they were under British rule. Those uppity Brits apparently didn't need their approval. Our State Department wasn't really down for the deal either, they were more concerned about middle east oil and disrupting the region.Vegas » 15 Oct 2025, 11:37 am » wrote: ↑ yeah, I know all of that. No reparations. Just fairness. I showed you the map. Does it look like The Brits, UN, and Israel kept the deal that was arranged? Why give them land in the first place if Israel was just going to rape and kill them for it anyway?Fuelman » 15 Oct 2025, 3:24 pm » wrote: ↑ Sure, they were on the land but you left out one very important distinction, they were under British rule. Your cry fest is going way back, you one of those reparations guys?
In the current situation the Brits and especially the UN have about zero **** say.Vegas » 15 Oct 2025, 3:27 pm » wrote: ↑ No reparations. Just fairness. I showed you the map. The world found out real quick back then about the Arab nations surrounding Israel. Take a look at a map, Israel is in the middle of sand *** heaven, they are constantly on guard and has made them a formidable force. (with your tax dollars of course)
I highly doubt this is over.
You see them as always being the victim, not everyone thinks that. Can you wrap your head around that?Vegas » 15 Oct 2025, 3:57 pm » wrote: ↑ I don't care who Israel is surrounded by. That gives them no right to oppress the Palestinians. The Palestinians didn't ask for this. They were minding their own business until the Jews started demanded ****. Which is what Jews always do. They feel they are entitled to the whole planet. All of those rocket attacks from the Palestinians, since their first attack in in 1948, were in the spirit of retaliation, not aggression. Again, Israel has Americans fooled in thinking that they are victims. Anyone who studies history honestly would come to the correct conclusion that they are anything but victims.
Israel has successfully convinced most Americans that they are the victims. They are masters at playing that role. The Jews may have even invented it.Fuelman » 15 Oct 2025, 4:06 pm » wrote: ↑ You see them as always being the victim, not everyone thinks that. Can you wrap your head around that?

Any chance that you would want to talk about that missing piece of information? Yeah...I didn't think so.

what has happened in israel is a whole different ball of wax. israel evicted people with the help of america and when they struck back, israel played the victim card creating the mess that lasts until now and even after tomorrow.
some christians who don't really believe in Christ think it is okay to evict people off their land.
