I showed you where it came from, and if YOU don't believe it, then show me the true percentage of Afghan refugees in this country who are receiving SNAP benefits.
Until then, I'm the only one providing a FACT that's been documented!

Yes it did!
It's just a shame that you don't have the reading comprehension to enable you to recognize that the point of the article WAS NOT to dispute the percentage of food stamps given to a particular race, it was to point out that those figures were not the percentage of people MAKING UP our distribution of food stamps.

Here, let me educate you further as I would a third grader:
FACT: 45.6% of Afghan refugees receive food stamps.
That IS NOT the same as saying that 45.6% of our US food stamp allotment goes to Afghan refugees.
THAT is the point of the article, you **** moron!

Are you bright enough to understand the difference, or are you needing to be left back in grammar school again?

The claim that
45.6% of Afghan refugees receive food stamps is likely based on a misleading or viral chart, according to a recent Al Jazeera fact-check. This number appeared on a chart showing that Afghan people were the largest group receiving SNAP benefits, followed by Somali and Iraqi refugees. However, this figure is likely a misrepresentation, as a 2024 report from the Department of Health and Human Services found that 21% of refugees and asylum seekers received SNAP benefits between 2005 and 2019, compared to 15% of all U.S. residents.
  • The 45.6% figure: This number likely originated from a viral chart that was being fact-checked in late October 2025, notes Al Jazeera.
  • Broader refugee statistics: A Department of Health and Human Services report cited by ABC News found that 21% of all refugees and asylum seekers received SNAP benefits between 2005 and 2019.

His title is misleading. If read incorrectly, it sounds like 59% of of recipients on welfare are illegal immigrants. That is incorrect. They only consume 3.5% of the welfare benefits. However, that is still too much. They are not supposed to be eligible. So how is even 3.5% allowed?
A recent analysis found that non-citizens were about 7.3% of the population in 2022 but consumed only 3.5% of all means-tested welfare and entitlement benefits. Cato Institute

OK genius, where does your responding story claim that 45.6% of Afghan refugees, 42.4% of Somali refugees, and 34.8% of Iraqi refugees in this country ARE NOT getting SNAP benefits?  It has NOTHING TO DO with the fact that only 21% OF ALL REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS received benefits, does it?  That chart is ONLY misleading because dopes like you can't understand the difference between the total percentage of a race that's receiving SNAP, and what percentage of all US benefits are going to that group!

You're really having an incredible struggle with such simple comprehension of the facts, aren't you dummy?
