This is a must-do in every state if the country is to survive. Yes, Minnesota, you too. They should prevent them from holding any office positions ie: school board. Judges, mayors, etc. The US should have a constitutional amendment that outlaws sharia law everywhere!!!

Islam And The American Experiment
Islam is not a religion in the sense that Western Civilization understands the word. Islam is a fusion of social, political, and theological authority. It is antithetical to our constitution and, in practice, has been militarily hostile to America since our nation’s inception.
The only English word that comes close to describing Islam is “Theocracy,” a system of government that fuses religion and autocracy, but even this falls short of the mark. In the words of Dr. Peter Hammond from his book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam,
Sharia law is ecclesiastical law, and in Muslim society, it is administered by religious courts headed by Muslim clerics. The Western institution most like this arrangement was the now-defunct Spanish Inquisition, which has a deservedly black reputation.
The authority that Sharia claims stands in opposition to civil and criminal courts in every American jurisdiction. For example, across America, it is illegal to behead your wife for adultery. However, it is sanctioned under Sharia law, as is stoning, and countries under Sharia governance apply this rule.Likewise, in America, homosexuality is not punished by death. In fact, it is no longer punished in any way. However, in areas where fundamentalist Sharia Law operates, homosexuals, when discovered, are routinely hanged or thrown off tall buildings.
Islam has three core religious texts: the Koran, which many Westerners are aware of even if they haven’t studied it; the Haditha, containing Islam’s collected traditions; and the Sirah, containing Mohamed’s collected biographies.
The latter two collections are significantly larger and more complete in scope than the Koran itself. They answer all questions within Islam that the Koran doesn’t addressThe Haditha are not a single body of text. There are several competing versions authored by different Islamic scholars. The two most respected in order of authority are Sahi al-Bukhari and Sahih al-Muslim. The Sirah, like the Haditha, has several competing accounts of Mohamed’s life.

There is a growing body of intellectual and academic challenges to the accuracy and veracity of the Muslim texts, very similar to the challenges raised a century or two ago in those same quarters against Jesus Christ’s existence and the Christian narrative. Unlike the Christian narrative, which has largely been supported by recent archeological discoveries, numerous archeological finds contradict the Muslim narrative.
However, for purposes of this discussion, the truth or falsehood of Islam’s narrative is irrelevant. The mere fact that many hundreds of millions believe and follow these texts is all that matters. Their beliefs and actions are informed by the three texts above and by the ways Muslim clerics interpret them.So, what do these texts instruct Muslims regarding Infidels (i.e., non-believers)? An answer is found in a corner of American history.
In the years of the Articles of Confederation, 1782-1787, the fledgling United States sent John Adams as American Commissioner (ambassador) to the Court of St. James (Britain) and Thomas Jefferson in the same role to the Court of Louis XVI of France.
During this time, the Barbary States, particularly Algeria and Tripoli, had taken it upon themselves to prey upon American flag merchant ships plying the Mediterranean Sea. They seized ships and cargoes, sold crewmen and passengers into slavery, and held monied passengers for ransom.
The American-Algerian War of 1785-1795 saw pirates take 55 American flag vessels, including, in 1785, the brig Dauphin. Adams and Jefferson took it upon themselves as America’s official representatives in Europe to meet with Sidi Haji Abdrahaman, Tripolitan Ambassador in London.Adams and Jefferson reported to then-Secretary of Foreign Affairs, John Jay, what happened when the confronted Abdrahaman:
We took the Liberty to make some Inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretentions to make War upon Nations who had done them no Injury, & observed that we Considered all Mankind as our friends, who had done us no Wrong nor had given us any provocation? The Ambassador answered us, that it was founded on the law of their great Profet: that it was written in the Koran, that all Nations who should not have acknowledged their Authority were sinners: that it was their right & duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, & to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners; & that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise That it was a Law, that the first who boarded an Enemy’s Vessell should have one slave, more than his share with the rest, which operated as an Incentive to the Most desperate Valour & Enterprize. That it was the practice of their Corsairs to bear down upon a ship; for each sailor to take a Dagger in each hand & another in his Mouth & leap on board, which so terrified their Enemies, that very few ever stood against them. That he verily believed the Devil assisted his Country-men, for they were almost allway’s successfull.

This letter raises two questions: First, did America provoke the Muslim powers as has been frequently raised by Islamist apologists ranging from Osama bin Laden to the Ayatollah, and second, what motivated and informed the Barbary attacks on American merchants?
In answer to the first question, notice the events above took place in 1785-6, before our current Republic was founded in 1788. The nascent had no navy and no standing army, so the answer to the question must be an emphatic no.
Instead, Muslim aggression against the Yankee Infidels began almost the moment the Yankee Infidels were under their own flag. There was no American Imperialism because there was no American Empire, no American military, and no American Republic. There were just 13 disorganized states.
As for the second question, Abdrahaman clearly stated that the Koran informed all Muslims to attack, despoil, and enslave all Infidels wherever they may be found. Jihad does not originate as a response to anything America, Americans, or any other Infidels have done. It is commanded by Allah of all his faithful.
This reality—which hasn’t changed in almost 250 years—has ominous implications for any Infidel hopes of peaceful coexistence with Muslims. It only takes a brief review of 1,400 years of Islamic expansion to see a pattern of conquest, forced conversions, subjugation, enslavement, and ultimately, extermination of all Infidels unfortunate enough to find themselves in Islam’s path.

Didn’t vote for him in run off cuz I thought the other was stronger on this issue. This is the biggest issue IMO facing Texas and our country. I like what Mayes said. If we let them keep coming over and multiplying we are done. Too bad he can't get started right now.
