repo rates on vehicles is accelerating so there will be a lot of low cost great deals coming down the pike for cash buyers

how's inflation?

the average price for a gallon of gas in 1960 was .31 cents...1 quarter, 1 nickel and one penny in coin minted in 1960

today it's $3.00.....a quarter minted in 1960 is now worth $10.21 as of this morning

3 gallons of gas and some change back

How much would that $10.21 buy you in 1960 at the grocery store or a restaurant?

1960 McDonald's Menu--Hamburger is .10 cents in 1960 minted coin...this morning that coin is worth $4.08

You better check your math again. if a 1960 quarter is worth over $10.00's that would be 20 times.

cost of inflation is coin op...1 dollar = 4 quarters.....1/4 of a dollar each quarter

1 1960 minted quarter is a little over 10 bucks....10 inflates

1/4 inflation of the ball verses 10+ inflations with junk silver quarter

You are arguing percentages of currency when your original post compared the value of each quarter per dollar value regardless 1964 and 2024.

We didn't have McDonald's back then...but we did have Hermes Holiday Hamburgers at 15 cents.   

We bought em by the bag load.    lol

I like the fries that are kind of ruff on the outside.  Yummmmmm!

I still make it there once a yr, while good, they're not as good as I remember as I think they changed their supplier...

in the little waiting area, a kiosk takes your customer order (used to be an offsite operator) then you wait your 5+ minutes until it's done...no indoor eating as it's either picnic table or car...and they're always busy...

the co-founder just celebrated her 100th birthday last April...
