How do banks get around regulations to lend money to less than favorable clients?

and....

Is that bad?

The Fed and the Bank of England seem to think so...

Good thing no one ever get's into trouble other than whistleblowers who point this **** out...or it would stop

the banks are leaking...start bailing again

The banks know that the government will always bail them out, so it doesn't matter. They will lend to homeless people if it meant at least one payment of interest.

Actually we need things to go south so we can clean up this **** once and for all

whether elected or employee governance is a privilege....

it has become more of an entitlement due to unions and fraud...

we are not subjects....we allow them to serve us....

when they rig the game to stay in power there should be no form of punish taken off the table in order to set an example no less than terrifying

yep...then package the bad loans into special AAA rated paper that was guaranteed to fail

nice to see that the rating agencies that handed out those bogus AAA ratings manage to emerge unscathed

but nothing about this should be considered a rigged system....the investigations proved it was all up and up

it was the taxpayers fault so they paid

Nobody is forced to take a loan. You asked for it, pay it back and quit your crying. I have one question. Why don't banks offer low interest loan buy backs? Example: I have a 2% mortgage. You would think they would offer a discount off the principal to pay it back so they can loan it our for say 7 or 8%. I was just wondering.
